The world-weary adults are antagonistic in the beginning, but warm to each other as the day progresses.

Problems arise when Kate detects that Ashley is beginning to develop real feelings for her grieving ex, prompting her to reach out from beyond the grave and put a stop to it. Jason Biggs co-stars in this supernatural romantic comedy.
